As the days grow darker, and the weather turns crisp and cool, we turn our interests to “fireside” cocktails. The warming classic libations such as the hot toddy, old fashioned and our beloved Manhattan, the focus of our latest holiday feature. Bringing subtle spice and smoke, we have a twist on the Manhattan with mocha forward Siete Misterios Arroqueño at the forefront. The cocktail gains richness from Maidenii Classic Vermouth and a hit of herbaceous flavor with Apothecary Spirit Fire Cherry Cedar Bitters.

45 ml Siete Misterios Arroqueño Mezcal

30 ml Maidenii Classic Vermouth

3 dashes Apothecary Spirit Fire Bitters

Combine all ingredients, stir over ice, strain into chilled glass. Garnish with an orange peel
