For this Easter weekend, we’re whipping up an equally sharp and smoky update to the Last Word. We do love our gin, but for this cocktail we’ll be swapping in the exquisite beauty that Siete Misterios Coyote mezcal is. This particularly fruity and delicate mezcal smells of sweet spring flowers and vanilla, a perfect match for spring sipping. Light smoke along with the addition of sweet pineapple gives this cocktail a lovely tropical balance.
La Reina
30 ml Siete Misterios Coyote Mezcal
20 ml Green Chartreuse
10 ml Maraschino
10 ml Pineapple syrup
2 dashes Scrappy’s Celery Bitters
30 ml Lime juice
Combine all ingredients, shake over ice, fine strain into chilled glass
