It’s happening! Province to Province, Coast to Coast, we’re opening our borders, lifting restrictions, and (safely) returning back to where we all know we want to be; bars and restaurants.

For that reason, we feel it’s best to put Spirited Sessions on hold for the time being, allowing our industry to focus on opening its doors.

Sovereign is a company structured to serve our community, whether that means helping locate our products in your market, providing staff education, or simply a shoulder to lean on; we’re here for you! Spirited Sessions most certainly will be back and when it does we will have some great content planned so stay tuned! In the meantime, if you’re interested in running your own Spirited Sessions or have a topic to suggest PLEASE, reach out and tell us your idea. Our platform is your platform.

We look forward to bringing Spirited Session back and will soon, details to come.

About Past Spirited Sessions During the Pandemic:
Throughout the entirety of the pandemic, we were able to take our Spirited Sessions online, giving seminars on topics ranging from “Everything you Need to Know About Gin” by Simon Ford, to our latest seminar conducted by Christina Veira, giving insight into needed uncomfortable conversations within our industry in order to create a framework for social change. We’ve also had incredible seminars with hosts from all over Canada, The US, Peru, and Mexico.

From the beginning, Spirited Sessions Virtual Edition’s intention wasn’t just about education it was also about giving back to our community during such strange and uncertain times. For each seminar, Sovereign donated $5 for every virtual attendee to a chosen charity. Over the course of the pandemic, we were able to donate over three thousand dollars, all thanks to all of you tuning in week after week, month after month. Our charities ranged from The CPBA Relief Measures Fund, BBF, The Native Women’s Association of Canada, The Black Health Alliance, Egale Canada, The Humane Society of Canada, and Nellie’s Shelter in Toronto.

We are truly grateful for all the love and support we’ve received over these last 17 months, please never hesitate to reach out, we’ll do anything we can to hold up our family.
