Avuá Oak Cachaça Following Brazilian tradition, is aged for up to two years in French oak, or Carvalho previous used to age white wine. Carvalho (Portugese for ‘oak barrels’) is the most common wood used for cachaça aging in Brasil and imparts notes of vanilla, butterscotch and banana.
